Labour LAW and immigration law in switzerland

Overview

Labour Law and Immigration Law are a cornerstone of living in Switzerland and can prove to be a challenge especially for foreigners who have recently arrived in the country, as there are also specific laws for individuals from abroad.

The aim of this course is to introduce and consolidate all types of labour and immigration law. At the very start, you will be introduced to labor law. Then you will deal with the duties of the employee and the employer, as well as the termination of the employment relationship. The final part of the course deals with the law on foreigners.

.This course will take approx. 16 hours (13 hours of learning and transfer assignments, 3 hours of repetition).

Learning Aims



You will learn the three areas of labor law.



Important decrees with labor law provision, as well as dispositive and mandatory provisions.



You will learn about the four essential elements of the individual employment contract.



Apprenticeships and the probationary period according to labor law will also be emphasised upon.

Explaining the standards and the SME chart of accounts.

Central to the acquisition of knowledge are the various exercises to help you practise the various terms.

Developing an appreciation for the accounting system of Switzerland.

Evaluation

In order to receive credit for this course, students must participate in the online activities and successfully complete the assignments included.

At the end of the course, the students receive a statement that they have fulfilled all the requirements on the course and have knowledge of all the material included.

In the last topic block, you will work on competences in building and planning law.
